Upper Gunnison Drought Plan
The Upper Gunnison Drought Plan was created by the Upper Gunnison River Water Conservancy District and developed by Upper Gunnison Basin water users to help the Gunnison Basin prepare for and build short and long-term resilience to drought.
Our capabilities include response actions, mitigation actions, drought monitoring, communications and engagement, and is inclusive to regional water users, municipalities, industry, educational institutions, agricultural producers, recreationalists, and environmental/conservation groups.
